Club Penguin Art for Haiti Update!!!

Club Penguin recently had an art contest, and the winner’s work would get painted in a playground at a new school in earthquake devastated Haiti. Well quite recently the winner was announced, and here’s an update on the plans from Billybob:

Hello Penguins!

I’ve got an update on our Art for Haiti project today! Our artist made it safely to Haiti, and has started work on the mural. The school construction is also going well.

Check out these photos of the project so far. Here’s the new school in progress, and the old school it’s replacing:

Blog 2010-09-04.jpgThe team would like to thank you all again for your support. One reason we chose to build a school in Haiti was because of all the comments we received from you after the earthquake this year. Your passion inspired us!

Next Saturday we’ll have pictures of the finished mural, so check back! And if there’s anything you’d like to say to the kids in Haiti, let us know in the comments and we’ll deliver the message.

Until then… Waddle on!

That’s great construction has begun! It look better so far than to what it was. It’s quite inspiring that Club Penguin has decided to help kids in need. When we think about it properly, education is actually very important in life. We kind of take school for granted, in fact most of us hate school and forget the amazing benefits.

In other news, my blog has reached over 150,000 hits!!! That’s INCREDIBLE!!! Thanks so much everyone for viewing my cheats, I really hope I’m helping you! I still can’t believe I’ve reached 150,ooo! Remember to keep coming back though, I’ll be having a free membership contest when my blog reaches 200,000 hits!

Keep on a’ waddlin’!
