Club Penguin Coins For Change Results Video!!!

The results for Coins for Change have been released a day early by Billybob! Also, a video has been made, showing a bit about where our coins are headed!

More than a massive 12 billions coins were donated to Coins for Change this year, showing we do care about those in need or less fortunate.

How much we donated to each cause determined how Club Penguin would divide $1 million. So in the real world, this is how much money is going towards each cause:

  • $300,000 will go to build safe places
  • $360,000 will go to protect the earth
  • $340,000 will go to provide medical help

Click here to see the video about where our coins are going!

Wow! That is a lot of coins! Are you happy to hear where these coins are going?

Reviewed by You – Coins for Change Donating!!!

Hello Penguins!

With 2011 just around the corner, we want to take this time to say thanks for another amazing year. It’s you and your buddies who make this island so great.

Your generosity helped make the Holiday Party and Coins For Change a huge success! Check back on Saturday to see where your coins are headed.

Last week we asked you which Coins For Change cause you donated to, and Bumba1 said:

I donate to all of the causes because some people aren’t as fortunate as us and I really want to make a difference. I saw what Club Penguin did last year for the kids in Haiti and I wanted to make more people happy this year. If we build shelter, people will be warmer and safer. If we donate towards saving our forests, we can save so many animal species! If we provide medical help, we can be a healthier world. I hope everyone thinks about how they are helping the less fortunate when they donate to Coins for Change. Happy holidays!

Reviewed by You – Christmas Around the World!

Last week for Club Penguin’s Reviewed by you, we were asked what are we doing to celebrate Christmas in our own homes! There were MANY responses,  here are only a few:

Andy2407 said: At my own home, in Christmas, My whole family has a Christmas dinner. And we invite all of our friends and relatives. We are from Australia so we have an aussie BBQ, salad, ice cream and other stuff that is Summer food. Christmas is my favourite time of the year!

I’m also Australian so that’s very similar to what I do! 😀 Thanks Andy2407!

Jkgirl324 said: Since my mom is cathalic and my dad is jewish, I celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas. For Hanukkah, we light the monorah candles, get presents, and eat matzaballs for dinner. For Christmas, we open up the presents from Santa and my parents in the morning. When thats over, we all eat breakfast and watch the Christmas parade at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Then we go to my grandma and grandpa’s house where we see our whole family, and get more presents!!!!! Later at night, we all have a big feast (all homemade by grandma, the best cook ever) and get to catch up with each other. I love the holidays. I’M SO LUCKY!!!!!!!!!!! WADDLE ON CP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lilypop said: I have a party with all of my closest family for the holidays. Other than that, I donate to the poor, just like on CP! In my school, we have baskets to put money and presents in. They soon give them to a local homeless shelter to spread some Christmas cheer! Waddle on CP and Happy holidays!
